Congratulations to winners Ike & Mayla!

I am very, very happy to share that our first Win A Puppet contest in April had two winners.   Congratulations to both winners, Ike and Mayla!

Here are the puppets that Ike and Mayla made for the Win A Puppet contest.   They both did a FANTASTIC job.   Yipee for Ike and Mayla!

The children are now the owners of puppets that I built from scraps of faux fur that I had in my puppet studio.    I hope that these puppets will inspire our two contest winners to continue with making their own puppets.

Thanks to everyone who entered!

It was great to make puppets with you online in March and April!  If you missed the Facebook Live shows, you can still make the puppets and have lots of fun. Just visit our Puppet Crafts for Kids page.  Would you like me to share more puppet crafting ideas?   Send me a message on our contact page with your thoughts for future episodes of Puppet Crafts for Kids.

I am presently taking a break from producing weekly live streaming puppet craft videos and mini-shows, as I work on the stage sets and music for our summer production Fairly Hairy Tales.

Please “stay tuned” to the Wump Mucket Puppets website, and social media channels for announcements on Wump Mucket Puppets’ summer 2020 virtual puppet shows.

Puppetry Workshops

Puppets are a perfect creative activity for children as we wait until it is safe to meet in person. If your school, library, or community center are interested in having me present an online 30-minute puppetry workshop for the children in your community, please get in touch with me through our  contact page.
