Puppet Crafts for Kids webcast

Puppet Crafts for Kids webcast

Puppet Crafts for Kids webcast is a FREE webcast for kids and parents.  Do you like to make your own puppet crafts?  Wump Mucket Puppets can help you learn to make your very own fun puppets from things that you have around the house.  Join me, Terrence Burke, on Facebook Live every Tuesday at 2 PM Eastern. This FREE live webcast from the official Wump Mucket Puppets Facebook page.   All ages are welcome!

In addition to creating and performing my own puppet characters, I am the teaching-artist of the Puppets Telling Stories workshop at WordPlay Cincy, a literary arts center that helps children and teens share their stories through creative workshops.

Tales from Bucket Gulch Wump Mucket Puppets

Are the puppets still performing?

You bet they are!   Because we had such a wonderful response during our first live webcasts, the Wump Mucket Puppets are now performing “mini-shows” every Thursday at 2 PM Eastern!  Join Cyril, Coleman, and our entire cast of fun characters for songs, silliness, and some  fun.  In addition, you can chat with the puppets during the Wump Mucket Puppets Facebook Live webcast!

Using technology to stay in touch

Did you know that it’s the Wump Mucket Puppets 10th anniversary as a puppet company?   It’s hard to believe that it was ten years ago I brought a makeshift puppet stage and three puppets to my daughter’s preschool.  What an adventure it had been!   With my spring touring shows and puppetry workshops postponed, I am learning how to webcast to bring thoughtful and creative puppet activities to children and their families through webcasting.  If you have any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions, please drop me a message through our CONTACT PAGE or on the Wump Mucket Puppets Facebook page.

We Are All in This Together

I know that our world is facing extraordinary times as we do our best to combat COVID-19.   As the father of two children, I understand the fears and uncertainty that must be going through children’s thoughts.  Above all, we will get through this hard time friends and fans.  Most importantly, we will do it together.
