Halloween Puppet Shows
Wump Mucket Puppets have two more Halloween puppet shows to perform this October. It’s fun to celebrate one of our favorite holidays with our audience. We look forward to seeing you and your family at these FREE family events.
Join us on Saturday, October 27th, for an 11 AM showtime at the Public Library of Cincinnati Main Library’s HallowREAD Party. This great event includes our Kooky Spooky Halloween Show, a sing-along and costume parade with Jennifer Ellis, and fun Halloween activities and crafts. Come in costume and trick or treat through the Main Library. Be sure to stop in each department for candy or a prize! No registration required for all of this free Halloween family fun.
Monday, October 29th our cast will be traveling to Indiana to perform at the Bartholomew County Public Library‘s Fall-O-Ween Fest. Wholesome fun for children and families. This event is not a ticketed event! Space is limited; seating begins at 6:15 PM and is first come, first served. Showtime is at 6:30 PM. There will be plenty of fun at this event too, including the opportunity to paint pumpkins, enjoy scary stories, make chalk art, have your face painted, go bowling, and enjoy the library! Costumes encouraged but not required.
Merlin the Bat is a star
Our new puppet character Merlin the Bat has been very popular with both children and adults. Bats are often associated with Halloween, scary vampire movies, and things that go bump in the night. Merlin’s “BAT-tastic” segment of our Halloween puppet show is a fun way to help educate children about these misunderstood mammals. We encourage our audience to pretend to be a bat during the show, to dance along with Merlin and Coleman the Sasquatch as they do bat dance.
Happy Halloween to everyone!
